Coffees update constantly as crops mature, new crops come in, and each growing region begins and ends harvest. Coffee does not last like wine. We brew only fresh roasted coffee and our stock is constantly changing! Most coffees are available over the counter, reserve coffees are available with one to two day notice. Gift packaging is available.

Cupping Notes: Black currant, blackberry, blueberry, ripe tomato, and citrus - all the things you would expect from a great Kenya. More than just flavor, it has powerful structure that few coffees can match. A bright and winey acidity and elegant round mouthfeel similar to that of an XO Cognac.
Top Auction Lot Kenyas are consistently among the most impressive coffees in the world. This lot from the Tambaya factory is among the best coffees to come out of Kenya, or the world for that matter. The Tambaya factory is part of the Rumukia Farmers Cooperative Society and is Fair Trade Certified by FLO. There are 843 active members of this group who tend to a total of 218,600 coffee trees. Each of the farmers have small plots of land varying between .25 acres and 2 acres. The Tambaya farmers grow mostly SL28, a bourbon derivative that tends to produce the best coffees in Kenya. The coffees are carefully pulped, fermented and dried in the sun on raised drying tables until they are between 10.5% -11% moisture content. Fair-Trade Certified.

Origin: Fazenda Cachoeira de Grama, Brazil. A family farm with a long tradition of hand processed excellence. Raised at 3000’ altitude- Yellow Bourbon varietal which produces yellow cherries when ripe.
Roast: Light
Cupping Notes: Fragrant, sweet floral aroma that carries from ground aroma to brewed cup where it mingles with hints of caramel, wine, and dark chocolate. Excellent body.

Origin: From many small farms southwest of Lake Toba in Sumatra, this coffee is triple picked and sorted many times for quality and size.
Roast: Medium-Dark
Cupping Notes: A true powerhouse of a coffee! Rich tobacco, berry, and white pepper flavors pair well with this coffee’s tangy acidity.

The constant rain and humidity there make producing clean, defect free coffee a seemingly insurmountable challenge. Coffee in Sumatra is grown entirely by small landholders. Most farmers grow 300-500 coffee trees on 2-3 acres of land. Coffee is grown along with cabbage, tomatoes, chilies, and other cash crops. While most Sumatran coffees are defect ridden and don't truly meet specialty coffee grading standards, this coffee stands out in not only being defect-free but full of character.

Cupping Notes:A good old cup of coffee - one that will taste familiar and comforting to most people. Soft aromatics of citrus, lime, nuts, and chocolate. Surprisingly good acidity for a Mexican coffee. Clean and rounded. A perfect cup to accompany breakfast.
Terruño is a Spanish word that means "my land" - a fitting name for this coffee produced from the homesteads of the small-holders that grow coffee in Mexico's Nayarita state. A few hours north and inland from the popular resort town of Puerto Vallarta lays the Cerro San Juan, an extinct volcano. It is on the slopes of this mountain that the coffee comes from. The farmers, over 260 of them, are members of organically certified cooperatives. The rich soils and micro-climate of their homeland as well as old stock typical varietals allow them to craft excellent coffees.

Cupping Notes:Classic Huehuetenango in most respects but with a splash of exoticism thrown in. A well balanced caramel-like cup with notes of citrus, chocolate, squash, brown sugar, and the occasional tropical wisp of passion fruit and guava.
Finca San Vicente was part of a large property called Santo Domingo Usuma- cinta, which covered over 3000 acres. Through the years the property's owners sold small lots of land and one of these became what is today called San Vicente Estate. The first coffee crop from San Vicente came in 1976. They harvested only 750 lbs. At the time the workers had to de-pulped by hand and fermenting pools were made of wood. Since then San Vicente Estate has extended their coffee plantings and now harvest over 100,000 lbs/year.
